Disappointed Jun 13, 2009 After reading other reviews I decided to purchase this, I'm sadly disappointed. it seemed easy to set up until the cheap plastic poles started coming apart, and when comes time to put the fabric on you'll drive yourself crazy trying to put it on so the poles line up with the ties. The fabric also seems too small for the frame, and you can't really pull to hard because of the cheap plastic polls, and the floor of this tent is a joke. The kids liked it for a awhile until it collapsed on them. Overall for the money it's not worth it!

Woodland Hut Jan 28, 2009 My daughter is only 15 months old & we bought this for her for Christmas. I think she is still a bit young for pretend. In the meantime, we have stashed all her books, a pillow & a blanket inside. She runs in & out of it during the day grabbing books for Mommy or Daddy to read to her.
The fairies are velcro-ed on to the hut & for some reason my daughter loves to run by, rip them off & throw them onto the floor.
As for size, My daughter & my 6'5" husband can fit inside or me, my daughter & our 35 lbs dog can fit inside too. (This is without anyone sitting on laps.)
My husband & I put it together on Christmas day. It did take 2 of us to help tie the ties to the frame (one to hold the fabric in place while the other tied. I did force my husband to read the directions to put it together. It was not difficult to assemble. Overall, we like the Woodland hut & are very glad we purchased it. It is very cute & we get many complements on it when friends or family come by.
(addendum 2/24/10)
I now have 2 kids who are constantly playing in or around it. The older loves to climb through the windows.
I have moved 2 times since we purchased it. We have't had any problems with the short strings to tie the hut onto the poles. It does make for a snug fit. We haven't had any problem with the poles either. They are made out of the same poles that you's expect of a regular tent. Only one has a pole come undone, I popped it back into place and haven't had to do it again since.
I hosted playgroup today and had five 2 & 3 year old rocking that tent to where I really thought it was going to fall on it's side but it didn't. It's still standing. No tears. We are still ALWAYS getting complements on it. I am very glad we purchased this. Would definitely buy again.

Love it! Oct 21, 2008 This is an awesome hut. I tried others that were flimsy and was skeptical since this product had not been reviewed yet. This is very strong and stain resistant and I can easily fit into it with my 2-year old. There is plenty of room and it fits perfectly in the corner of her bedroom.
