Fun for all Jul 21, 2010
I bought this for my 21 month old son. He loves to put it together and take it apart. Does not quite get the ring toss, but still enjoys it.
My husband and I have been playing the ring toss - it is fun! Can't wait till our son 'gets it."
Only draw back - our son loves to put the string from the bag that holds the parts around his head. We had to take it away.

Bought this toy for my daughter's fourth birthday party. Boys and girls alike loved it.
I am keeping it locked up for playdates and parties and family nights, just so that we have something 'new' to do together.
So I don't know how well it keeps their interest over the long run.
I only gave it three stars for 'durable', since the sticks come out of the hole easily. But I guess that's for storage.
The quality otherwise seems fine, nice and vibrant colors.

I bought this for my four-year-old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it!!!! And not only does he enjoy it, but so does his nine-year-old brother, his cousins, the neighbor kids and mom and dad! It's something that can be played by all ages... make up your own rules, your own games. It comes in a nylon carring bag which is really handy. The wooden bases and pegs come apart for easy storage and travel. The brightly colored pieces make it even more appealing.
This wasn't available for Free Shipping from Amazon when I purchased as it was coming from another seller - Fat Brain, I think. As far as the company I ordered this from.... wow! fast shipping! This was here two days after I ordered and I just used the standard shipping rates. I would definitely order from them again. Great products, great service.

I was surprised that the pegs are not secured into the bases - this is clearly to be able to pkg it all flat into a convenient tote bag. But for the young kids I purchased this for (19mos & 3 yrs) having the separate pieces just made the pegs into instant microphones, suckers, and xylophone sticks! They never touched the rope rings - they were thrilled with the pegs w/the big balls on the ends! So, they liked it, they asked to play with it-and its no problem for me they played with it differently than it's intended purpose. It was a success as far as we are concerned!

This is a fun family night game in colors sure to appeal to the younger set. It's the right weight for throwing, but not heavy enough to harm anyone. It packs up compactly and travels well, for parties or holidays. I gave it 4 stars instead of five, because the beads holding the rope rings together are fragile. On ours they started to break during the first 10 throws. I used a little duct tape to hold them together, as the children love the game. This will be a great addition to family game time.
